Those tricky folks at Citibank

Today we got our annual account summary from Citibank for our AA mastercard and while it's cool to see how my spouse and I have spent money, it's kinda freaky to see that we burned through $45k in transactions in 2003. Sheesh! But what most bugs me is that I had always thought I had a no-annual-fee credit card with Citi, but there's a $50 'membership' fee shown here that I know is the annual fee. But I'm 95% sure that I signed up with it being no annual fee.

But, of course, I don't have the original terms of the contract. Does anyone keep that kind of junk? it's one of those things where you assume (or at least I assume) that the company is going to be honest and play it straight. But maybe I'm just a dope for thinking that.

In any case, we're going to dump the Citi card and find a different one. And now, time to do some research...
