Student Loans, Calling Cards, Credit Management and more, for college students

After having received quite a bit of email from college and university students and their families asking about personal finance information specific to academia, I'm pleased to announce that the team that brough you real life debt has now launched a new sister site called, logically enough, college finances.com. Whether you're already in college, are beginning the planning process (and it's never too early to figure out "that money thing" regarding your college education), or are just trying to figure out the ins and outs of paying off your student loans most efficiently, college finances.com should prove a good resource.
As with this site, all of the content presented is from unbiased government agencies, not commercial vendors with something to sell, and unlike most of the information you encounter on the Internet nowadays, it's all reliable and accurate, checked and verified by someone whose job it is to ensure that the information remains accurate.

There are a couple of areas that college finances.com focuses on, most importantly including student loans (including student loan repayment, federal student loans and student loan consolidation), calling cards (including Internet calls), credit cards (including debunking the mythical Zero APR cards), and quite a bit of information on cellphones and mobile phones (including cellphone fraud, cellphone pricing and cellphone plans).

We think the site's well worth a look, and are always open to feedback if there are additional topics related to college finances that you'd like to see included!
