A great example of credit card obfuscation
Paypal must be learning business processes from the people at eBay, that's all I can conclude. Having a few hundred dollars sitting in our paypal account, my wife and I thought "let's check out the option of getting a paypal credit card!" So we went to their credit card info page.
While the information on this page might meet Federal requirments for disclosure, I am going a bit batty trying to understand all the differences between the four plans. Is the only difference really the APR on financed amounts, which ranges from a low of 9.9% to a high of 23.9%?
Why can't a company that's offering an electronic prospectus for a credit card actually show a comparison chart where the differences and similarities are both highlighted for clarity?
It's like they're deliberately trying to obfuscate.
And that's not cool at all.
